Hey guys! Hope everyone's doing terrific this weekend! I thought I'd start this blog to track the rest of my undergrad experience. My first project will be my Bucket List. I first learned about it in Organization of Women Leader's in the fall and have thought about it continuously off and on sense then.
Bucket List(more to be added later):
- Take a Tropical/ Caribbean Cruise for at least 7 days- pure luxury, no stress, and pampering myself the whole time.
- Get a new bright yellow or green Volkswagen Beetle with a moon roof or convertible top.
- Take a road trip around the United States with my best friends.
- Reunite with childhood friends in Texas.
- Get an amazing teaching job.
- Obtain a master's degree and PhD. of Education
- Buy and take care of a Box Turtle or two for my classroom.
- Go to my 10 Year High School Reunion in 2016, and as many other reunions after...
- Travel Europe.
- Travel Australia.
- Raise a Girl Scout Troop from Daisies through Cadettes/Seniors.
- Open up my Avon business again.
- If I find the love of my life, if its meant to be, get married, and adopt at least one child.
- Run my own summer day camp.
- Take a trip by train- like Detroit to Chicago- with friends or family.
- Start an after school group for elementary school girls on self-esteem and empowerment.
- Promote the importance of mathematics to children, and help them to find the "good side of math."
- Raise my students as non-calculator dependent.
- Read the Bible from inside-out.
- Join a church or community choir after I get settled teaching.
- Become a Sunday School teacher/youth group leader.
- Buy/get/keep a munchkin kitty. :-)
- Be the best Christian, daughter, sister, grand-daughter, sister-in-law, best friend, friend, niece, cousin, teacher, student, co-worker, acquaintance, volunteer, listener, ... & human being that I can be.
